SARAJEVO, December 8 (FENA) – The Sweden/USAID FARMA II project relaunched the Hrana Gurmana campaign to promote local delicacies and to help small businesses to cope with the negative economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The first campaign phase, which lasted from July 1 to September 25, reached more than 650,000 people. It included 109 micro, small, and medium producers of high-quality food, 20 specialized stores that offer those products, and 13 restaurants that use local products in their cuisine. As the campaign continues, it will promote already included small businesses from the first phase and invites more small businesses to join in.
The Sweden/USAID FARMA II project invites all interested micro, small and medium producers of high-quality food from the fruit and vegetable, dairy, poultry, honey, medicinal and aromatic plants (including cosmetics), forest fruit, and mushroom sectors to apply for the participation in the Hrana Gurmana campaign. The invitation is also open to restaurants that use BiH products in their cuisine.
The campaign will support small businesses in presenting their high-quality products and connect them with the fans of delicious and healthy food and natural cosmetics.
The campaign will do so using its five social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube, an interactive online Hrana Gurmana Map, and a Business Catalog, which provides background information about the included small business, their products, and product availability. The campaign will also have its standalone website www.hranagurmana.ba and will continue producing viral videos and daily social media posts.
The minimum eligibility requirements for participation in the campaign are restaurants must be registered as private companies, whereas producers can be registered as private companies, cooperatives, or farm households producing high-quality products in fruit and vegetable, dairy, poultry, honey, medicinal and aromatic plants, forest fruit and mushroom sectors; and small businesses need to be willing to work with the campaign and provide the information and photos necessary for their effective promotion.
All interested businesses which meet the above criteria are encouraged to apply for participation in the campaign latest by December 24, 2020. The producers should use this link, while restaurants should apply here.
All questions related to the “Hrana Gurmana” campaign can be sent via e-mail to hranagurmana@farmabih.ba until 16.00 hrs, on December 23, 2020.
